At a moment when authoritarianism is deepening, when basic rights at work and democracy itself are under attack, workers across the globe are forging a different future.
From the care economy to gig platforms to digital supply chains, workers are showing us that solidarity and democracy can be rebuilt from below.
This gathering will bring together voices often kept apart — nurses, taxi drivers, gig workers, and tech supply chain workers — to share not just their struggles, but their visions and concrete examples of victories workers have achieved through peaceful, democratic organising and campaigning.
We are especially proud to spotlight the Global Gig Workers Alliance, a new initiative weaving together fresh strategies from the gig economy with worker movements worldwide.
